Pull-up assist machine

This machine helps you build the strength to do pull-ups, chin-ups, and dips. [ID: pullup_assist_mach]

Instructions

Question: How do you practice doing pull-ups, when you can't even do one?
Answer: The Pull-up assist machine.

First time: Do 10 reps, starting at a low weight

Go:

  • With the pull-up, your hands are positioned with your palms facing away from you.
  • Meanwhile, with the chin-up, position your hands with your palms facing toward you.
  • Most people find that chin-ups are easier to do than pull-ups.
  • Adding weight to the Dip-chin assist machine makes your pull-ups easier to do.
Details

I call this the "Pull-up assist machine" because that's what most people seem to use it for...learning to do pull-ups.

This is a unusual, but very helpful, machine. If your goal is to do some pull-ups or chin-ups, this is a great place to practice.
