Pretzel stretch

Tie yourself into a pretzel; it's a great static stretch for your lower back. This is often called the "erector spinae stretch". [ID: pretzel_stretch]

Instructions

First time: Hold your pretzel stretch for 10 or more seconds on each side

Go:

  1. Sit with one leg crossed over the other and opposite knee straight
  2. Rotate your torso toward your bent leg. Bring your back arm over the knee
  3. Hold this position for 10 seconds (or more)
  4. Switch legs and repeat
