Low lunge twist

Instructions

First time: Hold for 10 seconds for each leg

This is an easy, yet effective, exercise. Steps:

  1. Perform a lunge, but then proceed to lower your knee to the ground
  2. Twist your torso toward your lower knee, raising arm to full extension
  3. Return to standing position and alternate to the other knee for the next rep

Progression: Don't kneel. Keep your back knee off the ground in a typical lunge position and continue the stretch.
