Inchworm

Instructions

First time: Do 5 inchworms at a slow, controlled pace

Steps:

  1. Start by standing tall with good posture and core engaged
  2. Keep your feet fixed; bend and crawl forward with your hands until you're in a push-up position
  3. Do a push-up
  4. Crawl back and stand up, returning to your start position

Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise.

Details

Progressions:

  • Try more reps (10) and more sets (2)
  • Instead of a push-up while prone, try planking for 10 seconds
