Hurdler's stretch

This stretch should not be performed by anyone with a history of knee or low-back pain or injury. Health professionals believe this stretch should not be performed by most patients or general wellness clients. [ID: hurdler_stretch]

Instructions

First time: Hold the stretch for 10 seconds or more

Steps:

  1. Start position: Seated with your legs in front
  2. Bend one leg back
  3. Lean forward toward your front/straight leg and hold the stretch
  4. Return to start position; repeat for other leg

Remember: Breath and relax. Don't bounce.
