Crossover crunch

Exercise your obliques with this crossover crunch [ID: crossover_crunch]

Instructions

First time: Do 10 reps, at a slow, controlled pace

Steps:

  1. Start position: Lie on your back and cross your right ankle over your left knee; put your right hand behind your head
  2. Twist to your right as you squeeze your abs, bringing your left elbow to your right knee
  3. Return to start position
  4. After 10 reps, flip to the other side

This is a variation of the basic crunch exercise, crunch.htm

Progressions: Two sets, more reps
