Chest stretch

Standing stretch of chest and shoulders, [ID: chest_stretch]

Instructions

First time: Hold your stretch for 10 seconds or more

Steps:

  1. Stand (or sit), clasp your hands together behind your back with arms straight
  2. Lift your hands towards the ceiling, going as high as is comfortable; you should feel a stretch in your shoulders and chest
  3. Hold for 10 seconds or more...rinse and repeat
Details

Exhale as you raise your arms behind your back to increase the stretch intensity.

Progression: Reverse prayer pose, goto the 1 minute mark in the demo video to see this (tougher) chest stretch variation.
